6. Listing of awards and recognition
7. Suggested workshop/presentation topics
COPY OF PUBLISHED BOOKS: Send a copy of book(s) to be considered. Two copies are required for children’s/juvenile/young adult submissions. Note: All books submitted become the property of Amelia Island Book Festival. Publishers are invited to recommend authors and submit books for review.
REVIEW CRITERIA: Final decisions will be made by the Selection Committee. Galleys, manuscripts and Advanced Reading Copies may be submitted as long as a published book will be available before the time of the festival. Receipt of materials will be acknowledged as long as email contact information is provided.
Invitations to participate as featured authors will be sent electronically to selected authors. Once the invitation is accepted, the names of selected authors will be posted on the Festival website as soon as possible after September 30, 2012. Note: We are unable to notify authors who have not been selected as featured authors. Submissions received after the deadline for the 2013 Festival will be held for consideration for 2014.
FEATURED AUTHORS: Authors who accept an invitation to participate in AIBF as featured authors will be asked to participate in festival events, such as: Authors-in-Schools (Fri), Writing Workshops (Fri), Kidz Zone (Sat), Readers’ events (Sat). Book selling opportunities will be available to all authors.
