Author Submissions are CLOSED
for the 2013 Amelia Island Book Festival.
Author Information: The festival will be Saturday April 27, 2013 from 10am to 4pm. Authors will be responsible for all aspects of selling their books from inventory to sales transactions including credit card acceptance. All authors/publishers will be responsible for their own books and display items. Every table must be open to the public from 10am to 4pm. Request for additional chairs may be made but it is imperative that each author/publisher operate within their assigned space.
Notification Process: Authors accepted will receive an email with specific event day information including unloading, set up and parking approximately 2 weeks prior to the festival.
Refunds: The festival will occur rain or shine. There will be no refunds granted after 2/28/2013. Refund requests prior to 2/28/2013 will be individually assessed by AIBF and may incur a processing fee.
Advertising and Promotion: AIBF will advertise the Festival in the following ways:
- Website – www.ameliaislandbookfestival.com,
- AIBF Facebook and Pinterest
- Articles and print ads in the local and regional newspaper and magazines,
- Press Releases to local and regional media outlets,
- Posters and paper advertisements displayed and distributed at local and regional businesses and schools.
Important Information: The State of Florida requires anyone selling goods to charge and collect sales tax. At the festival while selling books it is the author’s responsibility to adhere to state laws and regulations.
