Award-winning author and human rights champion Stetson Kennedy joins Harper Lee Award winner Wayne Greenhaw and civil rights activist Rodney L. Hurst, Sr. in reminiscing about their involvement in the Civil Rights Movement during the tumultuous 1950s to 1970s in the South.

The Amelia Island Book Festival is pleased to announce that New York Times bestselling author Steve Berry was selected to receive its first annual Literacy Leader Award, given to an author who has contributed significantly to promoting literacy through his/her body of work or activities. Berry has been a dedicated supporter of the Amelia Island Book Festival since its inception and, along with his wife, Elizabeth, works actively to promote the love of reading, writing, and history through their foundation, History Matters.
